BoothDesign

Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Effective 10 October 2026 · Privacy Policy · Back to the application

In plain words

BoothDesign is free to use for designing exhibition stands. You own the design you create and you may show it to your clients, your contractor and your colleagues.

What you may not do is take the tool apart or take our content out of it: no downloading or extracting the 3D models, no scraping, no copying the code or the interface, no using any of it to build a competing product or to train a model. This summary is here for clarity only; the numbered terms below are the ones that apply.

Important — this is a visualisation tool

BoothDesign produces approximate visualisations, not fabrication drawings or engineering documentation. Dimensions, clearances, loads, material behaviour and venue compliance must be verified by your fabricator, your engineer and the venue before anything is built, ordered or quoted.

1.Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Periger LLC ("we", "us"), the owner and operator of the BoothDesign application at boothdesign.app and any related subdomain, path or embedded instance (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" means both you and that organisation.

2.What the Service is

The Service is a browser-based tool for laying out and visualising exhibition stands: booth dimensions, walls, panels, rooms, furniture, lighting, graphics and similar elements, rendered in three dimensions, together with a catalogue of pre-made 3D content that we supply.

The Service is informational and illustrative. It does not constitute engineering, architectural, structural, electrical, fire-safety, accessibility or regulatory advice, and it does not produce documentation suitable for manufacturing, construction, permitting or tendering. See the notice above.

3.The licence we grant you

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service through a standard web browser, in the ordinary way the interface allows, for the purpose of designing exhibition stands for yourself, your employer or your clients.

That is the whole of the licence. No other right is granted, whether expressly, by implication, by estoppel or otherwise. In particular, nothing in these Terms transfers to you any right in the software, the 3D content, the catalogue or any other part of the Service.

4.What you may not do

The Service is provided free of charge. That does not make its contents free to take. You must not, and must not permit or assist anyone else to:

  1. Extract our 3D content. Download, save, copy, capture, intercept, decode, re-record or otherwise obtain any 3D model, mesh, geometry, texture, material, map, thumbnail, preview image, catalogue entry or metadata that forms part of the Service, other than the ordinary and temporary caching your browser performs by itself in order to display the Service to you.
  2. Automate access. Access the Service or any file it loads using any crawler, spider, scraper, bot, headless browser, download manager, command-line client, script or other automated means, or in any manner designed to retrieve content in bulk.
  3. Reverse engineer. Decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate, de-minify, instrument, or otherwise attempt to discover or reconstruct the source code, data structures, algorithms, geometry-generation logic or internal organisation of the Service, except to the narrow extent such a restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
  4. Copy the product. Reproduce, adapt or imitate the Service's source code, user interface, screen layout, interaction and navigation design, menu and catalogue structure, naming, iconography, wording or overall look and feel, in whole or in substantial part, in any other product, service, prototype or demonstration.
  5. Build a competing product. Use the Service, or anything obtained from it, to develop, offer or market any product or service that competes with or substitutes for the Service.
  6. Train or build datasets. Use the Service or any content obtained from it to create, populate, train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve any dataset, library, machine-learning model or generative system.
  7. Redistribute or re-host. Republish, mirror, proxy, frame, embed, bundle, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, lease or otherwise make the Service or any of its content available to any third party, whether or not for payment.
  8. Circumvent protections. Bypass, disable, probe, overload or interfere with any access control, authentication, rate limit, referrer check, signed link, quota or other technical or security measure, or access any part of the Service you have not been given access to.
  9. Strip notices. Remove, obscure, alter or falsify any copyright, trademark, authorship, version or other proprietary notice contained in or displayed by the Service, including in any file you export.
  10. Misuse the Service generally. Use it unlawfully, to infringe anyone's rights, to transmit malicious code, or in a way that degrades the Service or the experience of other users.

Each of the above is a material term. Breach of any of them ends your licence under clause 3 immediately, with or without notice.

5.Your designs, and files you export

The arrangement you create — your layout, your dimensions, your choices, and any logo, image, text or artwork you upload — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We process it only as needed to operate the Service, to render your design and, if you are signed in, to store it for you.

You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including logos and graphics belonging to your clients.

Where the Service lets you export a file (for example a 3D model of your stand for an augmented-reality preview, or an image or document of your design), that export is licensed to you solely for presenting, reviewing, quoting and producing that specific project. Any 3D content of ours embedded in such a file remains ours and remains subject to clause 4: you must not extract it from the exported file, reuse it in another project, import it into other software as a content library, or pass it to any third party as an asset. Export may require a signed-in account, may be limited in volume, and is logged.

6.Ownership

The Service and everything in it other than your own design content — including the software and its source code, the 3D models and their geometry and textures, the catalogue and its organisation, the generated previews, the interface design, the text, the icons, and the BoothDesign name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, database, trademark, trade-secret and other laws. All rights not expressly granted in clause 3 are reserved.

7.Accounts

Some features require an account. You must give accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and not share your account or let anyone else use it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

8.Free access, and changes to the Service

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of it, introduce paid plans or usage limits, or withdraw free access, at any time and without liability to you. We may also change, replace or remove catalogue content.

9.No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any dimension, visual, measurement, quantity, price or specification it shows is accurate, current or complete.

You alone decide whether to rely on anything the Service produces. Verify it before you build, order, quote or commit.

10.Third-party names and content

Any third-party product, brand, company or venue name that appears in the Service is used for identification and descriptive purposes only. It does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, endorsement by, or approval from the owner of that name, and any 3D representation shown is an approximate generic representation, not an official or dimensionally exact model of any particular product. All such marks remain the property of their respective owners. If you own such a mark and object to its use, contact us and we will address it.

The Service may link to or load third-party resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contract, opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated saving, however caused and under any theory of liability, arising out of or relating to the Service.

Without limiting the above, we are not liable for any cost, loss or damage arising from a stand being built, ordered, quoted, rejected or altered on the basis of a design, dimension, visual, quantity or specification produced by the Service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service and these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the liability, or one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12.Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your design content, or any material you upload.

13.Monitoring and enforcement

We log access to the Service and to the files it serves, including network addresses, request details, timestamps and client information, and we use those records to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service and to detect and investigate breaches of these Terms.

Where we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached, we may without prior notice rate-limit, throttle, suspend, block or permanently refuse access, including by network address, account or organisation, remove or disable content, and pursue any remedy available to us at law or in equity, including injunctive relief. Because unauthorised extraction and copying of our content causes harm that money may not adequately repair, we may seek an injunction without having to post a bond or prove actual damage.

14.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version and its effective date are always shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be indicated in the application. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

15.Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction and venue. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property.

16.General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Service and replace any earlier understanding. If a provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Clauses 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.
