In plain words
You can design a booth without creating an account; in that case your design lives in your browser and we only see ordinary server logs and anonymous usage statistics. If you sign in, your designs and the logos or graphics you upload are stored so you can come back to them. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising profiles of our own.
This summary is here for clarity only; the numbered sections below are the ones that apply.
1.Who we are
BoothDesign (boothdesign.app, including any subdomain, path or embedded instance of the designer, together the "Service") is operated by Periger LLC, California, United States ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. Contact: legal@boothdesign.app.
Accounts, saved designs and customer records are provided through Exphora (exphora.com), our account and customer platform. When you sign in to BoothDesign you are signing in with an Exphora account, and the account data described below is held in Exphora on our behalf.
2.What we collect
| Category | What | When |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | Name, e-mail address, company name, plan, language. | When you create or use an account. |
| Design content | Your booth layouts, dimensions and choices; logos, images and artwork you upload; company and event names you type in. | When you save, share or export a design, or request a quote. Unsaved designs stay in your browser. |
| Requests you send | Quote, information or contact requests: the fields you fill in and the design they refer to. | When you submit such a form. |
| AI inputs | Text descriptions and photographs you give to the AI design assistant or the render studio. | When you use those features. They are sent to a third-party AI processor to produce the result and are not used to train models by us. |
| Technical and usage data | IP address, browser and device information, pages and features used, referring site, approximate region, timestamps, errors. | Automatically, through server logs and analytics (section 4). |
| Embedding context | When the designer is embedded on another website, the address of that website and its white-label settings. | Automatically, to check the licence and apply the host's branding. |
We do not collect payment card data. Payments, where offered, are handled by Exphora or its payment provider under their own terms.
3.Why we use it, and on what basis
- To provide the Service — render your design, save and reload it, export files, process your requests (performance of our agreement with you).
- To secure and operate the Service — detect abuse, scraping and licence violations, rate-limit, block offending addresses, debug errors (our legitimate interest, as described in the Terms of Use).
- To understand usage and improve the product — aggregate statistics about which features are used (legitimate interest; analytics cookies only with your consent where the law requires it).
- To communicate with you — answer your requests and send service notices about your account (performance of our agreement; consent for marketing, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To comply with the law and enforce our rights.
4.Cookies, local storage and analytics
The Service stores small items in your browser that are needed for it to work: your acceptance of the Terms, interface preferences (language, quality, units), your session with Exphora when signed in, and — when you have not signed in — your current design. These are not used to track you across other sites.
We use Google Analytics 4 and, on our public pages, the Meta Pixel to measure visits and the effectiveness of our pages. These tools set cookies and may receive your IP address, device information and the pages you view. Where consent is required, they run only after you allow them. You can opt out at any time by declining analytics in your browser settings, using a tracking-protection extension, or the providers' own opt-outs (Google, Meta). "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals are honoured as an opt-out of these tools.
We do not serve third-party advertising inside the designer and we do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles.
5.Who we share it with
- Exphora — accounts, saved designs, requests and customer records, as our account and customer platform.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers in the United States that run our servers and store our files.
- AI processors that generate AI design suggestions and renders from the inputs you provide, only for that purpose.
- Analytics providers listed in section 4.
- Licensed partners who embed the designer on their own websites: the partner sees the design you create on their site and any request you send them there, under the partner's own privacy policy. We do not share your Exphora account data with the partner.
- Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising within the meaning of California law.
6.International transfers
We are based in the United States and our servers are located there. If you use the Service from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on standard contractual safeguards for such transfers.
7.How long we keep it
- Account data and saved designs: for as long as your account is active, and up to 12 months after you close it or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it longer by law.
- Requests you send: for as long as needed to handle them and for our records, normally up to 3 years.
- AI inputs: processed to produce the result and not stored by us beyond the result you see, except in error logs for a short period.
- Server and security logs: up to 90 days, longer only where needed to investigate abuse.
- Analytics data: according to the providers' settings, 14 months in Google Analytics.
8.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a copy, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
To exercise any right, write to legal@boothdesign.app from the e-mail address linked to your account, or include enough detail for us to verify your identity. We answer within the time the applicable law allows. You may use an authorised agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authority.
9.Security
We protect the Service with access controls, signed and expiring links, rate limits, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will inform you as the law requires.
10.Children
The Service is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11.Changes
We may update this Policy. The current version and its effective date are always shown at the top of this page; material changes will be indicated in the application.
